A perfect weather day

Not a whole lot to say today.  I will be playing tennis at 10:30, tomorrow at 7:30 and then Wednesday is our last league match of the fall.  It has been a fun fall season.  Not all that great in terms of wins but I do think it has been good for the team.

Terry and I will hit the road early Friday on our way to Peachtree City GA.  On Saturday we will drive north to Dahlonega where Tori will graduate with her 4 year degree.  We will travel back to Peachtree City on Saturday, stay over night and then hit the road for 600 miles back to Naples on Sunday.  A lot of driving for 3 days but it should be fun.

Terry and I finished our Christmas cards yesterday and they got dropped off in the mail at the post office.  The printing, folding, stamping and addressing did not take that long.  Our card, a make it yourself edition, is not fancy at all but does do what we want.  We want everyone to know that Jesus is the reason for the season AND catch up a tiny bit on our 2019.  Not sure what my next project will be.  With the sibling calendar finished, the weekly 2020 book for Terry and I completed and the cards in the mail I just may lie down for a long winter nap!

Oh I may have to stop at Costco for a bottle of Irish Cream that goes in the coffee!  December is a time for remembering, looking back, looking forward and giving thanks for all that God has given me.  Of course it is also a time to remember Ronald, Janet, Mom, Dad, Gail and others.  Whenever I do that I realize how blessed I am today.  A great family, a wonderful wife and nice places to rest my head.  However I do think, at times, would I be as thankful IF my life wasn't so good?  I think and hope that I would but really am not sure.

No picture today and I am about finished.  My FP is down to the last drop.  I poured it into my Yeti cup and it stayed hot for a long time.
