Oh yea, you got to push the envelope!!!

Day 86, "Every (series) of pictures has a story"

Well I just needed to do something different this morning.  This bacon, egg, hash browns or hash brown, egg and bacon or sausage, egg, fried potato or egg, ham, hash browns just does not cut the mustard every day so it was "experiment" time this morning.   A doughnut shaped burger with an egg in the middle with cheese on top and then everything on a toasted bun, oh my what a start to the day! AND then to sip that delicious FP with each bit was a "mountain top experience" "for sure"!  I just had to get out of the old routine and start the day with a "fresh" whatever.  I mean when you wake up at 4 and get up at 4:20 you certainly need to start with some excitement.  I actually was surprised at how "done" and how good it was.  It will happen again I promise.

I got good news yesterday in the form of an e-mail.  A player who is very capable of court 1 play had told me some time ago that his wife had signed him up for bocce ball on Wednesday and he could not be on the team.  He said being on the team was not worth a divorce!  Well he sent a note yesterday saying that actually bocce ball is on Thursday so he could be on the team if the offer was still open.  Adding him to the team will certainly make it stronger.  I will also be on another team of 3.0 where you have to be 70 or over.  It is really funny as one guy, who has been on my team from the beginning, said he saw the writing on the wall and opted to not be on my team this year.  He and I have VERY different styles of play and any time we play together in the morning we lose.  Well just Tuesday we played together and won 7-5 and yesterday we played to a 6 -6 tie.  Guess who I am paired with next week on the 70+ team!  Right, we are playing together on court 3!!!  It should be fun, I think!

The tennis is picking up as many people come down in January so the players I am with today were pushed out of the AM and will play at 1:30.  The other 3 guys just happen to be on the 70+ team and I THINK I am better than the 3---will find out today so the pressure is on!!!

Oh my Terry has yet to find out the results of her X-rays and MRI from last week.  I was sure we would hear yesterday but nothing so maybe today.

I had a great experience yesterday.  I took my Pogo stick out from the entry way and headed to the barn.  I had not been able to go all the way without losing my balance at least once.  Well guess what?  Not only did I make it to the barn but I turned around, went past the basketball pole and hoop and then made it all the way to the house again without falling off.  I think I may try going to the barn, then to the chicken house and back again tomorrow.  That would solve my problem of that darn soft squeezey chicken poop that I always step on and then it oozes between my toes and I don't like that.  Oh, I forgot to mention it was in 1958, not today as I enjoy my FP!
