Another WARM day!

Day 79, "Every picture has a story"
This was one of our very first destinations on our 15,000 mile trip in 2014.  We started out by camping in a MN state park and then taking in a Saunders wedding.  From there we stopped in Jamestown to visit Dave and Marlys.  THEN we were on our way to Alaska.  600 miles later we were in Havre Montana to visit Larry F.  After 2 nights there we headed west to Glacier Park and then NORTH.  After 825 miles we were at mile 0 of the Alaskan Highway which begins in Dawson Creek BC.  For the next many days we drove the highway and had a wonderful time.  We finally entered Alaska on August 1st and ended our Alaskan Highway travel at Delta Junction, a 1365 mile trip on the Alaskan Highway.  The rest of the trip was an adventure for sure.  Five weeks in Alaska interrupted by a trip back to MN to see Terry's mother who was on her death bed.  After Alaska it was several thousand miles into CA and most of the western states.  We ended the trip by visiting our last MN state park in early October but not before stopping in Jamestown again to pick up the fantastic guitar Dave made for me.  A trip to remember with 100+++ pictures to keep our memory going!

One more warm day before we head to the 70s for a week or so.  Yesterday I did get tired playing tennis as it was humid and about 85 when we played.

Terry had X-rays yesterday to see if the Dr. can get to the cause of her pain.  She has a follow up appt in 2 weeks but we are hoping we hear way before that.

I am not going to keep a daily log of what I do in 2019 BUT we are now in day 3 of 2019 and I have not cheated on any of the things I want to do.  For me that is a mountain top experience!  Well I have not started putting the garbage disposal in BUT will start soon, maybe!  I do not think it is a big deal BUT when I am around water pipes I sometimes tend to have at least 3 thumbs!

I did finish my FP this morning and enjoyed breakfast without bread which is often my downfall.  I had two eggs with a LOT of olives, 3 different kinds at that.

Got my first hair cut of the year yesterday and I still hate haircuts.  I just can not shake those days of a dish towel around my neck and the NO shower afterwards.  Enough
