Day 84, "Every picture has a story"
A picture with memories. John and Diane lived next door for several years. They are from Toronto Canada. Very well to do but some of the nicest people one would ever meet. In the summer of 2016 they purchased a home on Lake Ontario that was in foreclosure with the idea they would finish building it. Shortly after the purchase Diane was diagnosed with brain cancer. They finished the home in December of that year and moved in. Diane died in January of 2017. John sold his home next to ours here in Naples last summer and we miss them and miss him as a neighbor. John is in his early 80s and took up organ playing several years ago. They had us over more than once for treats and some songs. Good memories and sad stories.
Oh my goodness the garbage disposal is IN. I only had to make 2 trips to the hardware store! The last trip was for a $.29 plastic washer! It is so good to finally get it in and working. I am now thinking of becoming an apprentice plumber along with my apprenticeship in electric work!!!
Tennis yesterday and tennis this morning at 7:30. This morning will be with a couple of guys I have not played with for a while. One is just coming down for the winter and one was in MN for 3 weeks over Christmas. The third one is on my team for the first time this year. He has a rocket serve BUT gets it in maybe 10% of the time, maybe! His second serve is vanilla "for sure".
Not much else today. I did send a text to our Dr. about Terry. She is still in much pain and it has now been several weeks. Now, 2 MRIs and an X-ray later we think we should hear something. It is pretty darn nice when you can e-mail your Dr. and you get an answer. Usually he will get back to me the same day so will see if I hear today.
My FP is only half gone so maybe some will be left when I return from the courts.
