A NEW PROJECT

Four of the sun room windows from Niles Ave put to good use
We saved the 8 windows that came out of the sun room on Niles Ave.  In St. Paul and here in Naples we will post all the kids, all the grand kids and one great grand kid on one of the walls.  It is a project I intended to do at the beginning of winter but my excuse is that darn tennis got in the way so here it is being completed near the end of our winter stay in Naples.  It will be a totally new project when we get to St. Paul.  Those windows have 10 panes so will have to canvas the kids to see if there may be more grand kids or great grand kids on the way!!!  Here we filled in the empty panes with Terry and Terry/me.  Our pictures include Denali National Park, Lindbergh State Park in MN and on the tennis court.  Now we have to decide where to hang them in the house.  I am excited to get them hung as I think they will look very very nice.
It rained yesterday and last night so this morning I hopped on my bike to see what the tennis courts looked like and they are flooded.  I would say NO tennis today but then I do not play on Sunday anyway.  The courts have been so so dry as we are in a drought.  They water the courts 3 times each 24 hours and still the heat and wind dry them out so much.  If any family or friends happen to read this and wonder about the fires in south Florida we are fine.  Some of them are close but we do not have to worry.  I would say one major one is as close as 10 miles but there is not wooded land between us and the fires.  The fires are a major major source of concern and destruction.
It is Sunday so I can enjoy my FP with a bit of Baileys.  This morning it is extra special as I am drinking the last of my Kona coffee.  It served me so well each Monday during tennis league maybe I should have saved it for next year but decided not to.
We are looking at about 3+ weeks before we head north.  As always there is a lot to do before then.  I say that with tongue in cheek as a full day at the age of 70 would have been a short morning at the age of 50!
