Here we are on the first Saturday of December 2021

 TERRY

I would say Terry is doing the same.  As I write it is 8:30 and she is still sleeping.  She is enjoying having some visiting time with her son Brian who is here.  It has been some time since she saw him.  

We will have company this afternoon.  Terry's granddaughter Stephanie along with her husband and daughter will visit this afternoon.  They live in the Denver area but are on a road trip.  Terry has not met her great granddaughter so that will be fun.  With her son Brian visiting I will have to take a 4 generational picture FOR SURE.

So my day is going to be taken up with getting a meal for everyone when they are here this afternoon.  I have a 21 pound turkey brining so we will see how my FIRST ever brined turkey turns out!  I am thinking I need to put it on the grill maybe early afternoon.  I think they will be here about 2:00 or so.  

Terry and son Brian have been catching up on things.  It has been a long time since she saw him.  His wife Tammy did not make the trip.

I am at a loss as to what to make for dinner.  I need Terry to wake up and give me advice.  I was thinking of making potato salad and having peas for a veggie.  TO BE KIND OF HONEST I WOULD RATHER BE IN MY WOODSHOP INSTEAD OF THE KITCHEN.  BUT I know one needs to go with the flow so I will put a smile on my face and whip up a feast, well kind of a feast!!!

No here it is getting close to 9:00 and I am thinking I need to make a decision about food and then make a quick trip to the store for things.  BUT I need Terry's input so will wait for a little.  

That darn cable is still out so we are relying on movies for a while.  I checked out 8 yesterday and may need to get more tomorrow as I do not think cable will be here now until Monday.  

As we get into the winter months the mornings are cooler.  Morning temps have now been in the 50s.  It is just a bit cool when tennis is early.  As I look at the weather it will not get out of the 70s today.  No complaints as that is comfortable for sure.  

No I am going to sign off and plan out a menu for this afternoon.  What kind of potatoes go with turkey?  I am thinking mashed but what about potato salad???  

AND yes my FP is almost to the bottom of my extra large coffee cup now.
