The projects, they can wait, right?

Ever heard of "Your head is in the clouds?".  When we were at the visitor center at Haleakala NP 10,000 feet up on Maui

The volcanic crater at Haleakala

No need to make this a big picture if one looks at the price!  Typical cruise ship thing!  They were in our room but we did not use them as the motto is "you open and you pay"
I managed to go through the first full day back without working!!!  I did get in a short bike ride which was good.  Terry and I went to the bank (no, it was not to get a loan to pay for the trip) and then went to Ikea to get a couple of chairs for the kitchen.  By that time it was mid afternoon and I had not even been in my wood shop so why start?  Actually I did unlock the door and look at the router I had purchased.  Terry had given me a router lift for my birthday which made it necessary to buy a new router table and router!!!  In my mature age now I did the right thing.  Instead of taking things apart to see what I should do to get the router in the lift I CALLED the store to make sure it would work and get advice on how to do it.  After the call I went out into the shop and got the router in the lift in about 15 minutes and in the process I did not do any damage of any kind!  Then I even did one better.   When one buys something from Ikea you often have to put it together.  Well that was true for the chairs.  I READ the directions and they went together very nicely!  Oh my I am thinking, but it is too late now, to redo parts of my life and study and read before plunging into a project.

I have not watered since we returned.  Yesterday we got 1.4" of rain so I think the lawn and garden plants/grass are good for a while.  We may get more rain today and or tomorrow.

I got a message from Mark Saunders yesterday.  He said he hopes to see us at Deb's sale on the 25th.  He also said IF we could/want we could come a day early as there will be MUCH work to do. I don't really know if I want to spent a day or more getting the camper ready as I have not had it out of the garage for some time and don't know if I want to spent money on a motel either so I have to think for a while.  We will go up for the sale for sure but the extra day, not so sure.  As I look at the weather for the 25th it still looks like it should be perfect with low 80s and sun.

Terry has a Dr appt this morning and then we need to stop at the DMV as we changed our insurance on the car and now in order for that to work we need to register the car in MN.  It should be done as Terry's STS has been in MN for the last many years but has been garaged most of the time.    Anyway need to get that done today.

Breakfast is over, the FP is half gone and I need to get on the bike for a short ride.
