A break from trip pictures

Travis and I try to have breakfast once a week during the summer.  Yesterday this was mine.  A bit over the edge I say!

Our first zucchini from our garden, yum

Just in case anyone thinks all I do is drink FP, go on bike rides and sleep!  Not fastened down yet but the landing at the foot of the new stairs is almost ready to fasten.  I have the location and fasten down methods figured out.
Phone shows 87 today, 93 tomorrow and then 76 for Saturday.  I like that.

I MAY have found a new effective sleep aid for myself.  I am a little tired (REALLY) of waking up at 1:00 AM or so and lying in bed awake for a couple of hours.  Last night I took a 10 mg Melatonin and woke up once briefly and then woke up at 7:15!!!  That is unchartered territory for me.  I may try it again tonight.

However that means it is now 8:15 and I just finished my breakfast and I do need to get my bike ride in.  That means the work will be delayed until maybe 10:00 or so.  Oh well really, who cares about work?

No rain last night so I may be able to get the grass cut today.  I should also put down some fertilizer soon.  I did spend about an hour and a half yesterday picking weeds etc in the yard.  I then went into the shop to work on the stair post.  After about an hour of that as I had sweat dripping on my saw table top and on the wood I decided it was time to quit.

No, not much more to say this morning.  I will put air in the rear tire of Bentley (bike) and then take a short ride.  I am not sure it is a good thing as the tendon in my right leg is still sore and I can feel it when I ride but gosh, one can not just sit around and feel sorry about being at a more mature age, right?

I have made an executive decision that the dishes will wait until after the ride and I will reheat the FP when I return.  On to the wonderful outdoors that we should all enjoy on a comfortable morning.
