When we are in St. Paul I enjoy going to men's group each week. The group is part of People of Praise and it is used to bond friendships, share God in our life and support each other in our walk of living for Jesus and sharing Jesus with others. Last night was the last regular men's group I will be at before we head back to Naples. We gathered at the oldest saloon in St. Paul which is NOT a saloon anymore. It has weathered pine floors from the 1850s and so much more old material in the building which is so interesting. It was a fun evening.
We got a lot done yesterday but really did not get anything done. How about that for a statement! Terry's son Brian had things at the Prior Lake property which he wanted so we took them to our place. Our car was full, our pick up was full and some things were in the house. Brian and Tammy drove up from Iowa yesterday and we were able to get everything in his pick up by filling the extended cab and putting the tail gate down. SO all is out of our car, pickup and house. That was a good thing.
Today we are in the third of four days in the 80s and then we are looking at 70s and 60s until we leave. We did fine without AC Monday and yesterday as we had company both days. We still have AC in our bedroom window and that may stay there until the day before we leave.
I want to get a package mailed today and some work done on projects around the house today. Now that we are finished with company and STUFF is out of the house and vehicles I feel we can start to put things in order to put in the car for our trip south. IF I do not start a week in advance and each day put somethings in place I rush at the end and forget somethings. That is NOT to say my method is fool proof but it works fairly well.
This sounds like "old people talk" and maybe it is but as I look at the summer, which is about gone, I could say not much was done. BUT really IF we can head south saying some projects were done, Terry's tooth implant is in and Terry's property is sold, that will be huge and I certainly can wait until another summer for projects.
FP is gone and Bentley is waiting for the trails.
