A rain out and that is good

Here is the gang.  Most of the children, in laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren came to celebrate life and family.  The picture was taken right after the funeral for Grandma.  Circled are her children Deb, Mark and Allen.  Gail, the oldest, died in 2009.  Also circled is John Lee, the oldest grandchild at 50 and Maximilian Adkins the youngest great grandchild who is 2+ months.  Never fear, there are more great grandchildren to come as Abby Saunders is expecting twins shortly.  AND I am guessing there will be more to come.  It was a grand celebration of life.  Family came from New York to Oregon and everywhere in between.  Most of the 25 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren came.  On Friday night everyone stayed at the lodge which we rented and table tennis, cards, eats, treats, conversation and more went well into the night.  For anyone who knows the Saunders family you would know that TABLE TENNIS has to be part of every gathering!  Below was the scene Sunday morning before people headed home.

7:30 tennis was rained out this morning.  I said that is good only because it has been so dry and the rain is good for the courts.  It also is not a bad idea to give this body extra rest.  I know, the weekend is coming up but still the extra rest is welcome.

Not much more to say this morning.  I now have the entire day to do whatever.  I may have to take some more action on this rash I have.  I have now been putting cream on it for two days and I think it is not any better and in fact it may be worse.  I will wait a bit to see but I am not a happy camper!

I am still working on my FP and with each sip I tend to be happier!
