 TERRY

Terry is about the same today.  I have noticed that she now finishes the newspaper way way faster than say a year ago.  When I asked her about it she said she mostly looks at the pictures!  So here we are another day to celebrate life.

I do not know how much I will write.  I had a long long blog written and it somehow disappeared on me.

Today marks the day Dave died one year ago.  I received a call from Marlys early in the morning and she left a message early in the morning.  I called her when I woke up.  Things happened quickly over the next few days as John/Judi, Joan, Helen and I gathered in Jamestown for the wake and for the funeral that was held on Thursday, the 11th.  From Jamestown we drove the 130 miles to Bergen cemetery for the burial.

As I may have mentioned in the past those grandchildren are growing up so fast and it looks like there is talent in all families.  Cynthia sent me this picture of Faustina.  As a 7th grader she took first in the conference mile run.  I would say pretty darn good and wow she has 5 more years of track!

I would say from John/Mary, Travis, Aaron/Amy, Cynthia/Mike and just for kicks I will add Grandpa in the mix AND I can not forget the in-law families---the sport genes must be ALL over the place!  Way to go Faustina BUT when you win as a 7th grader what can you do to better yourself???
Enough as I am upset I lost my first long blog today but in the long run I guess that is not important!
AND yes the FP this morning was very good.
